Our Objects:
We are committed to working to improve the historical and amenity aspects of the town of Calne. In addition, we aim to
• Promote interest in the local history, heritage, and amenity resources of the Calne Community Area, including education and publicity.
• Initiate and encourage research into the history and heritage of the Calne Community Area and publish results as and when necessary.
• Bring attention to the relevant organisations where heritage and amenity assets need attention. This includes, but is not limited to, historic fountains, benches, public art restoration, accessibility of public spaces, walking routes, etc.
• Initiate restoration of heritage and amenity assets within the Calne Community Area, involving local community groups and residents where possible.
We run many projects and provide support to projects run by other charities.
